A one minute interview with Mother Teresa

Here’s an imaginary interview with Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta using her actual words to answer the pro-life community’s questions about abortion:

What did Roe v Wade do to America?

“America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men.”

How did it affect human relationships?

“It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father’s role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts ~ a child ~ as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners.”

Are human rights inalienable, as proclaimed by America’s Founders, or are they contingent, as proclaimed by today’s liberal elite?

“Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign.”

Mother Teresa’s comments above should make “pro choice” Catholics think.

The late Mother shares the revealed Truth of the Church. This is the Truth embraced by the elite 33 Doctors of the Catholic Church. And yet, pro abortion Catholics reject Mother Teresa’s wisdom.

They reject the wisdom of St. Augustin and St. Thomas Aquinas.

They reject the wisdom of St. Theresa of Avila and St. Theresa of Lisieux.

They reject the distilled wisdom of the greatest hearts and minds the Church has ever known, all of whom embrace a sacred principle of the Church, that man was made in the image of God, that our life is a gift from God, that life is not contingent on the whims of man.

So-called pro choice Catholics deem their wisdom superior to these Doctors of the Church.

The deadliest of the seven deadly sins is pride.

We’ve posted the complete list of the Doctors of the Church below for this reason: Catholics who believe that abortion is a right categorically agree that these men and women are wrong:
