Roe v Wade overturned 4 years ago today!
The Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade on June 24th, 2022 with the Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The landmark ruling returned authority to regulate or ban abortion back to the states. The decision wasn’t just the answer to a prayer. It was an answer to the collective prayers of pro-lifers since the awful Roe decision came down in 1973.
Those prayers easily run into the billions, as pro-lifers repeated their prayers each time they prayed in front of Planned Parenthood asking God for an end to human abortion.
What makes America great?
So what makes America ‘the greatest nation in the history of the world?’ Our system. And what makes our system different and better? God. We turn to a heavenly King as the source of our rights.
A tribute to the founder of Pulse Life Advocates, Carolyn Thompson
Our founder, Carolyn Thompson, leaves behind a remarkable pro-life legacy. Iowans For Life is the longest-standing pro-life group in Iowa. It rebranded in 2021 as Pulse Life Advocates and has seen its reach expand to every corner of the state.
HHS: Baby Boy Declared Safe Haven in May!
Through the Safe Haven Law, a baby boy, born May 25 is now in the care and custody of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and will be placed with a foster family until permanent placement is determined. This brings the overall total to 81 infants since the law went into effect more than two decades ago.

Every year we take students and adults by bus on a pilgrimage to the March for Life in Washington D.C. This is truly a life changing event!
