The most important theme of “The Odyssey”

By Pulse Life Advocates | July 31, 2026

This blogpost is less interested in the relative merits and demerits of The Odyssey itself than in its timeless theme: the desire to go home. The entire film is about Ithaca’s King Odysseus’ quest to return home after a 20 year absence. As Odysseus, portrayed by Matt Damon, says: “No one can stand between me and home, not even the gods.”

Why the downfall of Roe v Wade was so important

By Pulse Life Advocates | July 25, 2026

Roe vs. Wade horrified most of the nation. In the 50 years since, many people who were horrified then have become acquiescent in abortion now. People who do not live and breathe an issue get their cues about what is right and wrong from what is legal.

Roe v Wade overturned 4 years ago today!

By Pulse Life Advocates | June 24, 2026

The Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade on June 24th, 2022 with the Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The landmark ruling returned authority to regulate or ban abortion back to the states. Those prayers easily run into the billions, as pro-lifers repeated their prayers each time they prayed in front of Planned Parenthood asking God for an end to human abortion.
