Knowing that “with God, all things are possible,” people of faith and conscience unite in 40 days of prayer and fasting. The visible, public centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a focused, 40-day prayer vigil outside a single Planned Parenthood center. In Des Moines this vigil takes outside of the Susan Knapp “Heath” Center at 2304 University Avenue, Des Moines, 50311, IA. It is a peaceful and educational presence. Those who are called to stand witness during this vigil send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion.

Prayer is a centerpiece of our mission at Pulse Life Advocates. To this end, we participate during both the spring and fall campaigns every year. Our schedule for the 2026 spring campaign is as follows:
