California pioneers taxpayer funded abortion pills for college coeds

What a difference a year makes. As we wrote in a blogpost last year, outgoing California Governor, Jerry Brown, vetoed a bill that would provide taxpayer-funded abortion pills for California co-eds. Said Governor Brown:

“The average distance to abortion providers in campus communities varies from five to seven miles, not an unreasonable distance. Because the services required by this bill are widely available off-campus, this bill is not necessary.”

Keep in mind, Governor Brown is politically liberal and pro-choice, but even he thought this bill was unnecessary.

Fast forward to a new Governor, Gavin Newson, and suddenly the bill is law, turning every California college campus into an abortion facility.

Governor Newsom represents the latest ‘anything goes’ iteration of abortion-minded politicians, primarily found within the Democratic Party. They oppose any and all regulation on human abortion, and insist that taxpayers pay for it, even on college campuses.
